The game starts off in Moscow but players will soon be able to roam the entirety of post-apocalyptic Russia. According to the developers, the story will pick up from the “enlightened ending” of Metro: Last Light.
Players can expect to see familiar faces, new settings, new weapons, as well as other elements of the Metro franchise that fans have come to love. The developers also mentioned that Metro: Exodus will still have some linear levels that many gamers familiar with the franchise have grown accustomed to.
