A Brief History
Reuben started Geek Inc. way back in 2015. It was a one-man team. He did all the work but with a full-time job and a 2-year 0ld daughter dangling from his shoulders, he couldn’t keep up. Geek Inc. was abandoned.
On June 2017, Ezel, a childhood friend and gaming buddy, posted on Facebook about wanting to build a website and needed help setting up one. The wife spotted the post and told Reuben. After a bit of catching up, having not seen each other for years and thouSands of miles apart, plans were made. Geek Inc. was reborn. This time with the help of more people, more people to write content. Geek Inc. was no longer a one-man team.
Most members of Geek Inc. started gaming in the 90s when video games were still quite young. The members saw gaming evolve from 8-bit to current-gen. We keep the classics alive in our hearts. The nostalgia it brings reminds us of our awesome childhoods. And they were awesome indeed!
Geek Inc. to Geek Portal
At some point, the founders decided to change the website’s name as some other online entities had the same name just to avoid any future squabbles. Geek Inc. became known as Geek Portal. Other than the name, no other changes have been made. The core of the team remains the same.
