Our hearts belonged to Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for a very long time. Raging Blast is so-so. Xenoverse is okay. But when we found out that Bandai-Namco and Arc System Works were teaming up for a new Dragon Ball game, we knew it was going to look good.
Announced yesterday at E3, Dragon Ball FighterZ is the new game series for the Dragon Ball franchise. The game will feature a three-versus-three team battle system. This battle system encourages players to master play more than one character and study more fighters and styles, which allows for an improved gameplay experience. This also creates more motivation to beat the competition. The design and animation style is what every DBZ fan is waiting for. It will feel like a straight-up anime on 2.5D.
Check out this EPIC 3vs3 video released earlier today where you can see how the tag team battles work:
Dragon Ball FighterZ is slated to launch on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam early in 2018.
