Square Enix has released a new trailer showing the world of Lost Sphear, the latest role-playing game from Tokyo RPG Factory, the maker of I Am Setsuna.
Lost Sphear is due out for PlayStation 4 and Switch on October 12 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC on January 23 in the US and Europe.
The game is a mash up of modern and classic RPG gameplay that features colorful environment, turn-based battle system and a world map similar to the old SNES/PS1 Era JRPG.

In Lost Sphear, players take on the role of Kanata, a boy with the ability to manipulate memory. When Kanata wakes from a nightmare, he finds out that his home no longer exists. He then chose to take a path to face a devastating phenomenon which is causing towns to disappear, threatening the world’s very existence. Players join up with Kanata’s friends, Lumina, Lock, Van, Sherra, and Obaro, as they set out to seek a way to reawaken the power of Memory to restore what has been Lost, and rebuild the world.
